Roman Road Adventure
Are you tough enough for 60 ks almost entirely off-road, from Talybont on Usk to Neath ?. We've got the route and it's a classic!. A one-day fully supported spring, summer and early autumn marathon. For those not staying with us on a weekend package. We meet near Neath close to the M4 at 07-30 on the last Saturday of the month (April-Sept). The mini bus will be waiting to take you through the Brecon Beacons National Park to Talybont on Usk where your Bikes, Guide and support vehicle will be waiting for you. By 09-00 your guide will have you in the saddle traveling through some of the most spectacular scenery in South Wales. Riding over ancient rights of way once used by Romans Celts and latterly Drovers. A support vehicle will provide back-up during the journey. This trip is is only £84.00 per person fully inclusive. Booking is essential.
Secret Wales is only visited by the discerning Mountain Bike Rider. Those who constantly ride the same man-made trails over and over again must get BORED.
Undiscovered by the great unwashed there are trails here in Wales used by our local guides that you won’t find advertised in the Magazines, on the inter-net or even find on Ordnance Survey Maps.
What’s worse than trying to blaze a new trail only to spend half the day looking at the map.
Join us for a day or a weekend and it won’t happen to you.
We can even take the sting out of the climbs with our uplift service. It doesn’t mean you will avoid all the climbs but it will be easier.
