Bryn Bettws Log Cabins provide the base for our mid week training breaks. Stay with us in the Log-Cabins from Monday evening until Friday morning learning the skills required to become a MIAS accredited Mountain Bike Leader. The self catering activity break is designed to cover all aspects of the MIAS Mountain Bike Leader courses Level One and Level Two and to do some awesome riding over the Afan Forest Trails with our MIAS accredited MTB Guides.

To the left are a group from the British Army’s Officer Cadet Training School learning how to implement pre-ride safety checks on the first morning of their activity break. This Riding Activity Break is about having fun in a safe controlled manner Health and Safety touches all parts of our lives these days and that is what we hope to put over to riders during these three day breaks. Our motto is be smooth be fast be safe with MIAS. The three days will be a mixture of classroom hands on modules punctuated by riding the best trails in Europe. Accredited instructors will be at hand continuously.

Descending along the Penhydd Trail. To the inexperienced the trail seems daunting but with the developed confidence all our riders will enjoy this trail at some point during their stay. There are opportunities to night ride at no extra expense on the last night before your guides prepare a barbecue for you. You will take away a great deal of riding knowledge and be a competent group leader. Now you may consider taking your MIAS Level 1 or Level 2 certification. The price of £225.00 per head (min of four sharing a Log-cabin) is inclusive of a Hard-tail GIANT Mountain Bike, a Helmet Instruction and Accommodation. You may upgrade to full sus GIANT Anthem at £60 per Person.
